If you are anything like me you have signed up for several different networks that you end up never really visiting. In my case I use Facebook on daily basis, Twitter on and off, Plaxo regularly and Flickr weekly or so. Other networks I seem to sign up for and hardly ever do anything with them.

Why hasn‘t anyone done this before? Even I have written similar idea down, so someone else must have thought of it as well! We spread ourselves over the Intertubes without really having a way to look back and get a good picture of our life. Wouldn‘t it be great if you would have one site that you get when you are born and it follows you through your life? There you will write daily diary and add photos or files relevant to your life that day.

It seems that every day there is a new Microblogging service popping up with slight variations to all the others. I decided to look at three of them; Tumblr, Posterous and TypePad.
